CINEMATOGRAPHY AND COLOUR REFERENCES
When researching cinematography I looked at some films such as The Cabinet of Dr Caligari, The Godfather and American beauty. Each of these films all feature iconic images and beautiful cinematography. I also looked at the work of Roger Deakins I came across him on the special features of How To Train Your Dragon and also looked at his work on ‘O Brother, Where art Thou?’. He always has a big influence on every film he works on.
For colour I was again looking at Feng Zhu and his tutorial about working with colour. I also looked at the work of famous painters such as Turner, Rembrandt and Monet. Heres the link to Feng Zhu’s Colour tutorial.
